Applicatiuon

Solid base material composed of concrete, brick masonry, precast body, light bricks;

Sealing precast body joints, post-cast strip joints, structural expansion joints, pipe surrounding, lightweight porous masonry (substrate reinforcement treatment should be made);
Local reinforcement treatment, such as the pipe surrounding, corners and other locations;

Base Surface Treatment
Common Base Surface

The surface must be smooth, firm, clean and free from greasy dirt, release agent, fly ash and other loose matters;
The large holes and cracks should be repaired with patch mortar;
The construction of the precast slabs and slab joints should be done after the professional sealing treatment;
It is recommended to seal the screws and bolts with epoxy resin or similar materials in advance;
Before the use of flexible K*1 waterproof coating (Type II ), the base surface must be fully wet but should be free from water;
The interface treatment should be conducted to the porous substrate, especially cement fiberboards before the application of waterproof slurry.

Newly Cast Concrete
Before construction, the newly cast concrete should be subject to the curing for a certain time (generally for *4 ~ *8 days) to prevent the impact of early shrinkage of concrete.
Old Concrete Surface
Before construction, be sure to wash the old concrete surface with the strong commercial washing compound or spot lifter and then wash it with clean water and dry it before painting.
Before the use of flexible K*1 waterproof coating (Type II), all the plastering surfaces should be subject to the full curing treatment (for 5~7 days, generally).
Cracks

Tiny cracks (less than 2 mm) shall be sealed with HBJC flexible K*1 waterproof slurry (Type II);
Cracks with the diameter more than 2 mm should be repaired with mortar at first; then when the Waterproof Coating is applied to these cracks, add the non-woven fabric or glass fiber grid cloth for the reinforcement treatment;
Expansion joints where the polyethylene or polypropylene bars or other backing materials are placed should be sealed with the polysulfide, polyurethane sealant or sealant.

Construction Technology
1. Pour liquid additives into the clean mixing container, and then slowly add powder at the certain ratio while stirring and fully stir 3 ~ 5 minutes until forming the uniform adhesive cement without power balls, and use up the mixture within the operation time. It is recommended to use the machine (at the speed of **0~**0 RPM) to stir in order to obtain the best mixing effect;
2. Apply the slurry on the treated substrate with the roller or brush; according to the application and performance requirements, two or more layers should be set up with the thickness of 1mm for general engineering waterproof and 1.5~2mm for underground engineering (as the relevant specification);
3. The second layer shall be made after the first layer is slightly dry (no hand sticky), and this course usually takes 1~ 3 hours, which depends on the compactness of the base surface and the current temperature. If it exceeds *4 hours or the coating has been cured, then the coating surface should be wet with clean water before the application of second layer;
4. Curing: It is recommended to spray mist or cover the coating with wet cloth for **3 days since the next day and then conduct the closed water test; the pool for containing water for a long term should be empty for two weeks before service;
5. The mixed slurry is advisable to be used up within one hour, and the solidified material cannot be reused;6. Do not add some water while stirring nor change the proportion of the emulsion.
After construction, wash off all the tools and devices at once and clean up the solidified slurry with the mechanical meth

The construction temperature should be between 5i;
The mixed slurry should be used up within one hour;
Pay attention to the anti-freezing storage of the product in the cold region or low temperature, and the storage temperature of liquid components shall be not lower than 0 â„ƒ;
Do not add water or other materials in the product while using;
During the construction, please take the appropriate protective measures, such as wearing gloves, etc.

Shelf Life
Original sealed products should be stored in a dry and shade place; under normal conditions of storage and transportation, the shelf life of the product should be one year.
Reference Dosage
When the thickness of waterproof membrane is 1.0 mm, the theoretic dosage is about 1.**2.0 kg/m2. Dosage refers to the sum of powder and liquid consumption and the actual dosage depends on the situation of specific base surfaces.
