immunochromatographic assay.

² STORAGE AND
STABILITY
The kit can be stored at room temperature
(***0°C). The test kit is stable through the expiration date (*4
months) marked on the package label. DO NOT FREEZE. Do not store
the test kit in direct sunlight.
² SPECIMEN
PREPARATION AND STORAGE
1. Specimen
should beobtained
and treated as below.
- Serum or
plasma: collect the
whole blood for the patient cat, centrifuge it to get the serum, or
place the whole blood into a tube which contains anticoagulants to
get plasma.
-Â Whole
blood: collect fresh blood for use directly or make anticoagulant
blood for storage at **8℃.
2. Â All specimen should be tested
immediately. If not for testing right now, they should be stored at
**8℃.
² TEST
PROCEDURE
-Â Allow all
materials, including specimen and
test device, recover to ****5℃ before running the
assay.
-Â Take out
thetest
device from
the foil pouch and place it horizontally.
-Â Using the
capillary dropper to place *0μL of
the prepared specimen into the sample hole
SÂ of
the test device. Then drop
3 drops (approx. *0μL) of the
assay buffer into the sample hole immediately.
-Â Interpret
the result in 5**0Â minutes.
Result after *0 minutes is considered as
invalid.Â
² INTERPRETATION
OF RESULTS
-Â Positive (+): The presence of both
Cline and zone
Tline, no matter
Tline is
clear or vague.
-Â Negative (-): Only clear C line appear. No T
line.
-Â Invalid: No colored line appears in C zone.
No matter if T line appears.
² PRECAUTIONS
-Â All
reagents must be at room temperature before running the
assay.
-Â Do not
remove test cassette from its pouch until immediately before
use.
-Â Do not use
the test beyond its expiration date.Â
-Â The
components in this kit have been quality control tested as standard
batch unit. Do not mix components from different lot
numbers.
-Â All
specimens are of potential infection. It must be strictly treated
according to the rules and regulations by local
states.
² LIMITATION
The FIV Ab/FeLV Ag Combo Rapid Test is for in
vitro veterinary diagnosis use only. All result should be
considered with other clinical information available with
veterinarian.It is
suggested to apply a further confirmative method such
asWestern
Blotwhen
positive result was observed.
