DOORS
All fire rated door leafs shall be
*0/*5mm, double skinned galvanized, commercial grade steel G*0 zero
spangle to B.S.***9 made of 1.2mm thick face sheets of hollow metal
construction and Rockwool/Honeycomb infill. Longitudinal edges
shall be butt seamed, mechanically interlocked. Top and bottom of
doors shall be provided with inverted recessed channels spot welded
to door faces. Doors shall have *0mm clearance from finished floor
level
• Frames
Steel frames shall be 1.5mm thick
galvanized commercial grade steel G*0 to B.S.***5 with mitered,
welded corners round to a smooth uniform finish, wall anchors
appropriate to floors and wall construction shall be provided on
each jamb. All frames shall be prepared, reinforced, drilled and
tapped to recieve specified mortised ironmongery.
• Glazing
Door glazing where applicable shall be 6mm georgean wired glass or
clear glass with galvanized steel frames.
• Finishing
All steel doors and frames powder coated, color to client's
approval.
• Hardware Preparation
Each door and frame shall be blanked, reinforced, drilled and
tapped ready to recieve mortised, templated hardware.
