A Brief Introduction to
the Jaw Crusher:
The jaw
crusheris used to crush materials with a compression
strength of less than **0 MPa. It is often used as primary or
secondary crushing equipment (the secondary crushing equipment
often using cone crusher and
impact crusher). The jaw crusher is widely used in
industries such as mining, metallurgy, chemicals, building
materials, water conservation, and for highway and railway related
infrastructure projects. KMEC's jaw crusher is characterized by a
high crushing ratio, even granularity, simple structure,
reliability, easy maintenance and low costs.
Working Principle of the Jaw
Crusher:
The motor drives
a V-belt and belt pulley to move the jaw periodically via the
eccentric shaft. The movable jaw moves upwards to the fixed jaw
when the angle between toggle plate and moving jaw increases,
crushing materials in the process. The moving jaw is pushed
downwards from the fixed jaw by a pulling rod and spring when the
angle between toggle plate and moving jaw decreases, discharging
the final crushed materials from the outlet. The moving jaw is
moved periodically by the eccentric shaft to continuously crush and
discharge materials from the crushing chamber.
