An
electroforge (EFG)-welding machine is a dedicated machine used to
make steel bar grating from flat steel (bearing bar) and twisted
bar (cross bar). It is a key machine in whole steel bar grating
production line.

The
steel bar gratings manufactured with this equipment meet
requirements of such a Standard as YB/T******8 (Chinese
Metallurgical Standard), ANSI/NAAMM (MBG *****8) (USA) and BS
********7 (UK).

The
EFG - welding machine is classified as single bar type and
double- bar type on welding function. Single bar EFG-welding
machine means one cross bar is welded at a time, for example type
GYH*****1A, being suitable for small scale production. Double bar
one means two cross bars are welded at a time. The most of
products we provided are double bar type ones.

The
EFG - welding machine is also classified as A.C. type and D.C.
type on welding power supply. D.C. type means that D.C. power
work as welding power supply. It is realized to change A.C. power
into D.C. power by means of a rectifier. The welding power of
A.C. EFG-welding machine can be supplied in different three
methods as below: single phase power supply, *-phase power supply
with phase controller, and reverse power supply.

A.C.
reverse type is the latest design based on reverse technique.
Welding power is from A.C. 3 - phase power supply and then
reverse changes to A.C. single phase power supply output through
a reverse – controller, and finally goes through a single phase
step-down transformer for welding current output. In this
way the problem of single power supply for A.C. EFG -welding
machine is solved, preventing a power grid from unbalance. Its
outstanding advantage is high efficiency and energy preservation.
The efficiency can reach up *0% *- *0%, preserving energy 1/3
more than traditional EFG -welding machines. Utilization of
reverse technique in welding main circuit design results in
efficient increase in power factor of the welding equipment. The
power factor for electric power supply can be over 0.9 even
without a power factor compensation device. In addition, the
reverse circuit is controlled with an embedded computer CPU being
simple in structure, reliable in operation, and excellent in
anti-interference. Modularized structures are utilized in the
whole reverse power supply. Each modular unit generates power
output **5KVA. Different numbers of modular units can be
assembled to form such sizes of products as **0, **0 and ***0
EFG-welding machines.

hydraulic press plus such a unit as welding power supply set,
conductor row, electrode, electrode seating, combing clamp
(bearing bar positioning device), pressing rollers, welding
deformation correcting blocks and cooling pipes,
etc.

There
are following common features for all types of EFG-welding
machines:
1)
Cross bars (twisted bars) are manually laid and automatically
fed.

Bearing bars are manually positioned and automatically
fed.
3)
Steel grating is auto-repeatedly clamped & sent out by
dragging device.
4)
Switchgear cabinets are equipped with a primary current indicator
and a voltmeter.
5)
Longitudinal welding distortion is automatically
corrected.
6)
Both manual mode and automatic mode can be selected in operating
console. The operating console is fixed with man-machine
interface touching screen and LCD.
7)
Welding parameters are set and stored sections in PLC (data never
disappear even if power supply is interrupted). Parameters are
set with intelligence and indicated with digital
display.
8)
Linear ball rail is used in steel grating dragging
device
