Product Overview
The product is the fundamental equipment for the digital communication system and it has another name, i.e. PCM basic group equipment. The equipment is used to converge the signals such as voice, data and image into a standard 2M interface via various interface boards, and realize point-to-point transmission.

Structure Characteristics
The equipment is in a cabinet structure of 1U high, consisting of rack and panel. It can either be mounted on a *9” full open rack, or placed on a stable, dry and secure position as a desktop device.
The frame of the equipment is supplied with a mainboard inside, which provides *1 slots. The slots from 1 to *0 are of universal type allowing various types of user interfaces to intermix, and correspond respectively to the RJ*5 sockets as 1 to *0 printed on the equipment back. The slot *1 is fixedly inserted with a *0Mbps (line speed) Ethernet module, corresponding to the RJ*5 socket printed as *0Base-T on the equipment back (refer to Figure 1 and Figure 2).
On the equipment back, there are two ground terminals respectively at two sides, which are used for the connection between the equipment and the grounding system of the system skid.
The connector for user interface is RJ*5 socket, which can be directly connected with RJ*1 or RJ*5 plug, or connected with various connectors such as DB9, DB*5 and M*4 (F) etc by means of conversion cable.
