The SpectroScan *0 and *0V are highly reliable scanning UV-Vis Spectrophotometers fitted with a motorized *-cell changer that moves noiseless with a special membrane. This new series of Split-Beam Spectrophotometers has a dual detector and a very accurate system. The SpectroScan *0 and *0V are microcomputer controlled and have a large LCD display to work independently. They can also be linked to a computer and a printer to show photometric and spectral data in the PC monitor. They are also capable of performing kinetic test thanks to the optional Peltier constant temperature system, and can test flow through the liquid by the optional Sipper flow through system. The SpectroScan *0 and *0V can be used as accurate system for qualitative and quantitative analysis of analytical tests, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Clinical Analysis, Pharmaceutical and Agriculture Labs, Quality control, Industry and research. They can also perform DNA/RNA measurement. The SpectroScan *0 series comprises two different models that are identical in specs and features but just different in the bandwidth that is fixed at 2 nm for the SpectroScan *0 and variable at 0.5, 1, 2 and 5 nm for the SpectroScan *0V.
