Specialty:
Phenyl ether-biphenyl eutectic heat transfer fluid is a
eutectic mixture of two very stable compounds, biphenyl
(C12H10) and diphenyl oxide (C12H10O).
The fluid is dyed clear to light yellow to aid in leak
detection.
Could be used in systems employing either liquid phase
or vapor phase heating. Suitable applications include
indirect heat transfer.
Products advantages:
1) Heat stability: operational experience prove that ,
have excellent heat stability which could not be
substitute by other heat transfer fluids. The recommend
oil film temperature highest at 400℃, that is make
sure to be applied at gas phase 400℃. If system
followed strict design principles, the application
could highest at 430℃.
2) Lower vapour pressure:For heat transfer fluids, the
most important is property of vapour pressure. The
vapour pressure is very low, when at 400℃ , the
saturated vapour pressure just more than 1Mpa.
3) Low viscosity at liquid phase: are both tolerate
400℃ high temperature and very low viscosity, this is
beneficial to system process, the resistance is
decreased relatively.
4) The good safety property: the flash point at 116℃,
it is not belong to fire goods, and steam explosion
limit range is very small, from 1.15%（V/V）to
1.99%（V/V）.Under normal handling, there is no
possibility for explosion dangerous.
5) No corrosion for equipment/reaction vessel
6) Adopt high quality biphenyl made in USA & Japan,
and best diphenyl oxide made in China, to be mixed-up
and refined strictly
7) The products could be used together withDOWTHERM A,
Cilotherm-Do，Therm-s-300，Therminol-VP-1,
also could be collected for recycling.
