EN ***3: Determination of the flammability of textiles for clothing
This European Standard specifies a procedure to determine the burning behaviour of textiles for apparel-other than protective clothing-before and after cleansing.
 
 
Test content:

  • Number of specimens:Cut six specimens,each **0mm long and **0mm wide.
  • Test produce:*-flame application time *0s
                 *-commercial gas:propane
                 *-the first and the third market thread shall be used
 
Applying for EN ***3 requires the following process:
  • Preparation of application documents (product manuals, etc.)
  • Select a certification body
  • Submit an application and certify (provide samples for evaluation )
  • obtain certification (through certification, the certification mark can be affixed to the product)
