These Birefringent Crystals are a positive uniaxial birefrigent
single crystal. Dayoptics select the best quality quartz, which
has min inclusions and refractive index variation as the raw
material of our components. Quartz is commonly used for high
damage threshold waveplates.

These Laser Crystals are one of the most efficient laser host
crystal currently existing for diode laser pumped solid state
lasers. Its large stimulated emission cross-section at lasing
wavelength, high absorption coefficient and wide absorption
bandwidth at pump wavelength, high laser induced damage threshold
as well as good physical, optical and mechanical properties make
Nd:YVO4 an excellent crystal for high power, stable and cost
effective diode pumped solid-state lasers.
Main Features
Low lasing threshold and high slope efficiency
Low dependency on pump wavelength
Large stimulated emission cross-section at lasing wavelength
High absorption over a wide pumping wavelength bandwidth
Optically uniaxial and large birefringence emits polarized
laser
Typical Applications
For Single-longitudinal-mode output and compact design
Diode laser-pumped Nd:YVO4 compact laser and its
frequency-doubled green, red or blue laser will be the ideal
laser tools of machining, material processing, spectroscopy,
wafer inspection, light show, medical diagnostics, laser printing
and other most widespread applications.
Our range of NLO Crystals are an excellent non-linear crystal
for frequency-doubling (SHG) of Visible and Near IR laser
light, OPO/OPG/OPA pumped by ultrafast pulses of wavelengths in
the Near IR to UV, and sum-frequency mixing (SFM) into the
Visible to the deep UV. BBO is one of the few practical crystal
for use below **0 nm in SHG and SFM.
NLO Crystals has broad tunability, high damage threshold, and
high efficiency. BBO's small acceptance angle requires a very
good beam quality and its large walkoff results in output beams
that are very elliptical or slit-like. Type I is usually much
more efficient than type II operation. BBO can not be used for
NCPM (temperature tuned) application.
BBO is very good for tunable laser sources, such as ultrafast
Ti:Sapphire or dye lasers. And it is also widely used for SHG,
3HG, 4HG, and autocorrelation of femtosecond and picosecond
Ti:Sapphire lasers; SHG, 3HG, 4HG, 5HG of YAG lasers at ***4 nm
and ***0 nm to yield output of ******0nm; SHG of tunable dye or
solid-state laser sources from ******0 nm to yield output of
******5 nm, SFM of dye laser and YAG harmonics to yield output
of ******0 nm; DFM (difference-frequency mixing) from the
Visible to the IR range up to over ***0 nm; OPO pumped with SHG
or 3HG of YAG or Ti:Sapphire with an output range of *******0 ;
Intracavity SHG of Argon ion lasers (**8, **4 nm).
