The cryogenic stationary tanks are designed for long term
storage of cryogenic liquefied gases under pressure. Inner
vessels are made of austenitic stainless steel and cold
stretched for selected medium / high pressure models. These
tanks are available in vertical or horizontal arrangement and
they can be used for LIN, LOX, LAR, LNG, CO2Â and
N2O.
Lifting lugs with stainless steel inlay, integral shipping
supports and high quality vacuum-perlite system insulation with
molecular sieve adsorber have proven high performance and
extended hold time for lower life cycle cost for the
vacuum-insulated double wall tanks.

Optionally, the vertical cryogenic stationary tanks can be
manufactured with thermosyphon which are good for cylinder
filling applications. Karbonsan designs and manufactures the
thermosyphon tanks considering the user needs and difficulties

The very
concept of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) is a response to the
inefficiency of natural gas pipelines and the technical and the
economical problems of running pipelines over long
distances.

natural gas is cooled at minus **0.5° C, it becomes liquid and
more compact, occupying just 1/**0th of its gaseous volume.
This is because most of the heavier hydrocarbons are removed
during liquefaction.

The LNG
is predominantly methane (over *0%) — a colourless, odourless,
transparent liquid which is non-toxic, non-corrosive and less
dense than water. As LNG is highly volatile, specialist

builds ISO tank containers in compliance with ADR, RID, IMO,
DOT and other specific norms and also efficient, lightweight
cryogenic vacuum insulated LNG semi-trailers and rigid tankers

Vaporizers

ambient vaporizers utilize direct heat and mass transfer from
the heat available in the atmosphere. Karbonsan manufactures
aluminium star-fin ambient vaporizers, the most efficient
technology within the industry to guarantee the pressure, flow
and temperature of the outgoing gas as per the customers
specification. The ambient vaporizers do not have any moving
parts which provide maximized reliability and zero
maintenance.

Interconnecting
Pipe

These
pipes can be both classical PUR foam insulated or vacuum
jacketed (super insulation + vacuum). Depending on application,
vacuum jacketed pipe should be preferred when LNG is used as
the engine fuel. Karbonsan provides both types of pipes along
