The company engaged in the processing of agricultural products has divided its activities into seven types of business:

Business of crop production
Business of combines fodder and premixes
Business of protein supplements
Business of raw materials
Business of petfood
Business of veterinary formation products

These autonomically operated businesses provide production and services to different consumer groups, the needs of which may be better understood by targeting our operation to different consumer segments. As the company was expanding, we saw that a single strategy in all fields of business does not allow effective management and satisfaction of the customers’ demands. So, we defined separate management strategies for the customers’ needs. 

Balanced indicator systems as well as quality and customer management systems were integrated in the company “Kauno GrÅ«dai”. Business managers were appointed after the division of the operation into separate businesses. Such managers are persons with business management, decision-making and task delegation authority. Such management system has provided us with certain superiority as the company is among the market leaders in these different types of business.
