HW-CGA Cement Grinding Aids offer all the benefits of traditional
grinding aids, such as increased grindingÂ
efficiency and cement flowability. In addition, they offer a
unique ability to improve cement strengths which mightÂ
otherwise be deficient due to mechanical, physical or chemical
shortcomings. Advantages include eitherÂ
reduced cost of production or increased cement strengths.
Primary Benefit
The HW-CGA series of Cement Grinding Aid consists of tailor-made
formulations to optimize performance andÂ
meet specific requirements at each plant. The use of HW-CGA
allows the cement producer to reduce finenessÂ
and achieve lower unit power costs without sacrificing strength.
Compared with conventional grinding aids,HW-CGA offers unit power
savings of *0% ~ *5% with no loss of strength. And the resulting
production increasesÂ
can greatly benefit plants operating at or near their grinding
capacity.
Advantages
The chemical action of HW-CGA cement griding aid decreases the
interparticleattraction between cement grainsÂ
and increases the rate of hydration of cements.
The key advantages of HW-CGA cement grinding aid include:
1 Increased grinding efficiency with resulting increased mill
output, higher cement fineness and/or reduced unitÂ
power and grinding costs.
2 Increased workability (flow) of cement mortars and
concretes.
3 Increased cement flowability and reduced pack set or silo set
of cements resulting in lower handling costsÂ
and reduced waste.
4 Increased early and long-term compressive strengths for
production of better quality cements.
5 Reduced cost of cement production through reduced unit grinding
costs and through replacement of clinkerÂ
with reactive additions such as pozzolans, blast furnace slag and
fly ash or with fillers such as limestone.
HW-CGA cement grinding aids are most effective in enhancing
compressive strengths of blended cementsÂ
increasing to 5~8% limestone filler.
When cement particle size is not reduced, the addition of HW-CGA
improves both early and long-term strengthÂ
and produces higher quality cement. Strength increases ranging
from 5% to *0% have been demonstratedÂ
during plant trials.
Packaging
HW-CGA is supplied in **0 L drums. HW-CGA may also be supplied in
bulk in certain locations. It contains noÂ
flammable materials.
Storage
Protect from freezing. Once frozen, the product should be thawed
out slowly and re-mixed thoroughly prior toÂ
use. Shelf life is minimum *2months in manufacturer's containers.
