In order to prevent neonatal nuclear jaundice, it is very important to diagnose pathological jaundiceÂ

The concentration of transcutaneous bilirubin can be tested instantly and non-invasively by placingÂ
the probe on the neonatal forehead or sternum and pressing gently. It is suitable for neonatalÂ
jaundice screening. Though transcutaneous bilirubin is a very close correlation with the serumÂ
bilirubin concentration, there will be some difference between the measurement value and serumÂ
bilirubin concentration in the conditions noted below.
MBJ*0 is used in the dynamic clinical examination of neonate jaundice, by determining theÂ
concentration of bilirubin transcutaneously. It is used for the initial screening and monitoring ofÂ
bilirubin values in jaundice treatment.
Function
MBJ*0 Transcutaneous Jaundice Detector is a handheld device used in the dynamic clinicalÂ
examination of neonate jaundice. The transcutaneous bilirubin concentration which is correlativeÂ
with serum bilirubin concentration can be measured instantly and non-invasively when the detectorÂ
is placed on the neonatal skin. Combining electronics, optics and information processing technology,Â
