The RTTS Safety Joint is a safe tool which is usually connected in the string where the stuck is easily happened.   When the stuck can not be removed normally, the RTTS safety joint can be used to help to pick up the above part of the safety joint.

To pick up the stuck string, a upward pulling force which will snap the tension sleeve in the RTTS Safety Joint should be applied, then to rotate and move the string up and down continuously to trip out the above string.

  The RTTS safety joint is simple in structure, easy to operate and maintain

Ⅲ、Working principle and structure features

A mandrel in the safety joint is held inoperative by a tension sleeve to help prevent premature releasing of the joint. To release the safety joint in an emergency, apply a pulling force to the string to snap the tension sleeve. Then, hold right rotate toque on the string while move up and down, the spline keys on the mandrel will drive left-rotate screw nut rotating, after a certain of lifting and rotating, the RTTS safety joint mandrel can be removed away from the case and trip out the above tool.

According to the RTTS safety joint different size, tension sleeve break value is different, which can also be designed according to customer needs.

3 1/8 RTTS safety joint needs to rotate the string min *1 circles to be completely unscrewed, for each circle, the string needs to move up and down two strokes.

4 1/**5, 5 1/2 RTTS safety joint needs to rotate the string at least *0 circles to be completely unscrewed, for each circle of unscrew, the string needs to move up and down two strokes.

7″& 9 5/8 RTTS safety joint needs to rotate the string at least *2 circles to be completely unscrewed. For 7″ RTTS  safety joint, each circle of unscrew needs the string to move up and down two strokes, while 9 5/8 RTTS Safety Joint, each circle needs the string to move up and down three strokes .
