2. General info
        It has become an
irreversible trend for the papermaking industry to change from acid
to alkaline. The most fundamental change is the shift of sizing
agent from traditional rosin agent to medium-alkaline sizing
agent.
        AKD is one of the
most excellent sizing agents in medium-alkaline sizing agent. AKD
emulsion can be used directly in paper mills for sizing in pulp. It
can make paper with superior water resistance, acid resistance and
alkali resistance, and greatly improve the physical properties of
paper.
3. Application
        AKD wax ***0 do not
contain toxic substances, such as toluene, etc. since we use
solventless production process. So our product is especially
suitable for the producing of liquid food packaging paper. It is
easy to emulsify. C-starch or cationic polymer is usually used as
emulsifier and it can be melted at ****0℃. In the melting
process, the melting temperature should be strictly controlled.
When the temperature exceeds the required value, the sizing
performance and stability of AKD emulsion will be affected. At the
same time, the working process of valve homogenizer will directly
affect the quality of AKD emulsion, so the pressure of valve
homogenizer should be kept at the required stable value.
4. Packaging and
storing
