Feeling of natural raw product: The pure traditional African black soap doesnt look like regular bar soap. It is light brown to dark brown in colour. It is rarely smooth or uniform in shape. The texture of the soap should be soft and can be a bit crumbly. Natural raw black soap doesnt have artificial fragrance. It is described as having an earthy, ashy, scent.
Ingredients and processing:
Coco-pod, roasted in a clay oven to produce ash. Water is added
to ash to get lye. Ingredients like shea butter, coconut oil,
palm kernel oil (juice extracted from palm kernel) are heated and
added, it takes at least *4 hours hand stirred for local woman.
