Ceramic pulley lagging 

 
  • Reduced take up masses due to increased traction.
  • Reduced belt tension leads to increased belt and pulley life.
  • Greatly reduced wear and slippage.

Ceramic lagging

  • High-density ceramic tiles with studs create a rough surface for maximum traction.
  • Studs with rounded edges.
  • Tiles fitted directly to steel surface using  Hi-bond epoxy.
  • Bond between steel-ceramics is much stronger than between rubber-ceramics.
  • Allows for water dissipation and surface flexing of the pulley face.
  • Local damage to the pulley lagging can be repaired quickly. 
Rubber backed ceramic lagging
  • High-density ceramic tiles with studs vulcanised into rubber backing.
  • 1200mm x 600mm mouldings which can easily be split.
  • Maximum ceramic-rubber adhesion through specially formulated primer.
Ceramic Lagging can increase friction coefficient of the pulley, reduce belt spillage. Service life of ceramic lagging is 3-5 times longer than rubber lagging, which means low maintenance and less downtime.Structure of Ceramic Lagging is Inlaying 20mm×20mm high alumina ceramic tiles, which are high abrasion-resistant, into special rubber.
