The  Network Technologies *0 Gigabit Ethernet Fiber SFP+ Transceiver short range module (part number BN-CKM-SP-SR) is an SFP+ *0 Gigabit Ethernet small-form factor, hot-pluggable transceiver that plugs into a high-speed data port. It provides *0GBase-SR connectivity for up to **0 meters with multi mode fiber.

 

This *0 Gigabit Ethernet *0GBase-SR transceiver module provides excellent performance in port-dense networks with challenging thermal environments. The transceiver supports link spans up to **0 meters with the right fiber, and functions as the interface between the physical layer and the data link layer in high-density datacenter applications, local area networks (LANs), and iSCSI storage area networks (SANs).

 

The SFP+ *0GBase-SR Transceiver is compliant with IEEE **2.3ae ***0Base-SR, transferring a *0 Gigabit data stream over Multimode Fiber,The maximum distance achievable is determined by the type of fiber used.
