particularly suitable for distribution antenna systems.
These dividers consist of radially symmetrical output branches
emanating from a common junction.This junction is then transformed
to the line by a series of cascaded quarter-wave
transformersmounted within a coaxial housing.The Reactive Splitter
has a single and two or more outputs. They contain a
broadband impedance transformer to convert the *0&branded;
impedance to the lower impedance presented by the junction of
the
multiple outputs. For a two-way splitter this would mean a
*0&branded; to *5&branded;
transmission line transformer. In wireless applications the
reactive
splitter has some very significant advantages – it has
exceptionally low
loss (of the order of 0.*5dB), has excellent PIM performance,has
high power splitter and is virtually indestructible.
