The Story of Roman Glass Jewelry Musiam jewelry is based on ancient myths and legends and is particularly inspired by ancient art, architecture, and literature. We specialize in creating jewelry that incorporates ancient glass from the Roman Period. The breathtaking shards of glass in our jewelry are date from **0 BCE to **0 CE. They were unearthed in Israel by archaeologists sifting through the fallen pillars and once magnificent cities of the Roman Empire. We place the roman glass in sterling silver, sterling silver plated in gold (vermeil) or in fourteen karat gold. We also incorporate in our jewelry semi-precious stones, natural beads and pearls. Musiam jewelry is made in Israel by a small group of handpicked master craftsmen.
