Fix point networkable laser methane gas sensor is designed based on the principle that methane can absorb a certain wavelength of laser.

Through detecting the absorption content of the laser optical intensity to confirm if any leakage of methane and the content leaked, the detector will collect, deduce and send the data to monitor substation. The laser methane sensor is an intrinsically safe and intelligent monitoring device, which can be applied in the continuous detecting of the methane in coal mining. The detector is stable, with long life time, high sensitivity, self testing after power on, zero calibration of the methane concentration displayed, accuracy calibration etc.; all the properties can be calibrated by the infrared remote controller. Besides the methane detecting function, the device can realize the remote transmission of the concentration data signal; meanwhile, the concentration can be displayed locally and with sound and light alarm when concentration exceeded the required level.
